Donation of hepatitis B vaccination shots

Since its establishment, the Pann Thee Foundation has prioritized the health and well-being of children attending the Buddhist monastic schools. One of the key health initiatives undertaken was the vaccination against Hepatitis B, including both testing and vaccination efforts.

These health measures have been implemented across 9 states and 3 regions, benefiting a total of 113,440 children and 527 schools.

“Hepatitis B is a significant threat to children, particularly in communities where poverty and limited health knowledge prevail. The risk of spreading the disease is high in such environments, where children live and interact closely with others. By administering the vaccine, we have been able to provide lifelong protection, with an effectiveness rate of 95%, ensuring the children are safeguarded for the future.”
