About Project

The San Thida Nunnery School is one of many Nun schools in the community. This school has been under construction for five years, yet one school building remains incomplete. It currently provides education from KG to Grade 4, while older students must attend government schools for further education.

The three-story school building under construction has only been completed up to the second floor, and leaks occur when it rains. Additionally, the school accommodates many orphans, abandoned children, and children without parental care, with the youngest being just four years old. Recognizing the school’s dedication to providing a nurturing environment, support was provided to complete the construction of the three-story building.

Upon visiting the completed school building, it was observed that the three-story structure was being utilized efficiently—two floors were designated as classrooms, while the top floor served as a dormitory for the Nun.

When asked about their living conditions, the children expressed concerns about inadequate electricity, which caused them significant distress, especially at night. To address this issue and ensure a safe and comfortable environment, additional donations were made to install proper electrical facilities.
