Providing health care

Jan 10, 2025

The foundation’s healthcare program provides medical check-ups, treatment, and referrals to hospitals when necessary for children in monastic education schools and orphanages. These services are carried out in collaboration with volunteer doctors and healthcare professionals.

Dormitories and shelters, where large groups of people live together, have a high risk of disease transmission due to limited personal hygiene and inadequate sanitation. This can lead to frequent illnesses and outbreaks of infectious diseases. We visited these locations to provide health check-ups, distribute age-appropriate nutritional supplements and vitamins, and support children suffering from chronic illnesses or conditions requiring surgical intervention. Through the foundation’s program, we facilitated hospital visits and ensured that these children received the necessary medical treatment.

Since these children do not receive the same level of physical and emotional care as they would in a family setting, the foundation’s healthcare support plays a crucial and impactful role in their well-being.
